🛒 Ingredients
- 200 g lean beef, sliced into thin strips
- 1 carrot, diced
- 100 g broccoli
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger powder or fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
Method
Step 1 – Beef marinade
Slice the beef into thin strips and place it in a bowl. Marinate with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add black pepper, garlic, and ginger, mix well, and let it rest.
Step 2 – Stir-fry the vegetables
On medium heat, add olive oil, diced carrots, broccoli, red bell pepper, and cashews. Add 1 tablespoon soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5 minutes until softened, then remove and set aside on a plate.
Step 3 – Cook the beef
Using the same pan on high heat, cook the beef for about 5 minutes or until browned. Make sure most of the liquid evaporates before adding the vegetables back. Mix everything together, let it cook briefly, and then serve with rice.
