🛒 Ingredients
For the Kebab Mixture:
- 300 g ground beef (raw weight)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
Mix well until fully combined. (You can refrigerate it for 10–15 minutes to help the meat firm up.)
Prepare a baking tray with 6 skewers.
(If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes so they don’t burn in the oven.)
Shape the meat onto the skewers and bake in a preheated oven at 450°F / 230°C for 10 minutes.
To Prepare the White Sauce:
- 100 g low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Juice of ½–1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander or mint
For the Wrap:
- 2 whole-wheat flatbreads
- White sauce
- Chopped lettuce
- Red onion
- Tomato slices
- 3 kebabs (per wrap)
- Sriracha
Method
Step 1 – Prepare the kebab mixture by combining the ground beef with garlic, spices, and coriander. Mix until well combined. Refrigerating it for about 10 minutes helps the meat hold together.
Step 2 – Preheat the oven to 450°F / 230°C. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
Step 3 – Cook in the oven for 10 minutes only (do not overcook, as the kebabs may become dry).
Step 4 – Take the flatbread and spread the white sauce, then add lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and 3 kebab pieces. Add more white sauce and Sriracha, then wrap and serve.
