For the Wrap (per wrap):
- 1 whole pita bread / flatbread (112 calories per wrap – brands such as Al Rayan or Qarya Pita)
- 2 tablespoons garlic sauce
- Chicken pieces
- 50 g fries
- Pickles
Quick tip: You can toast the wrap in a pan to make it crispy and slightly firm.
Method
Step 1 – Slice the chicken and season it with all the listed spices, tomato paste, and lemon juice. Mix well until fully coated and set aside.
Step 2 – Preheat the oven to 220°C / 430°F. Cut the potatoes into fries and add cornstarch, paprika, black pepper, and cooking spray. Mix well, then place them on a lined baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Step 3 – While the fries are cooking, heat a pan over medium heat, add cooking spray, and cook the chicken for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown (avoid overcooking).
Step 4 – Prepare the garlic sauce by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and mixing well.
Step 5 – Take the flatbread, spread a generous amount of garlic sauce, add chicken pieces, about 50 g fries, and chopped pickles, then add a little more garlic sauce
